Letter to Editor: New Netteswell councillor thanks voters

Elections / Sat 7th May 2022 at 12:17pm

I WOULD like to express my sincere thanks to all who voted for me on 5th May, it is a huge honour to have been elected to serve my fellow residents as Labour Councillor for Netteswell.

I am delighted to be joining my wonderful Netteswell Labour colleague Cllr Nancy Watson to continue focussing on and addressing the issues of concern to residents. Next week the amazing Harlow Labour team will be back out on the doorsteps, as we are week in week out, staying in touch.

There is much to be done around the ward and the wider town. The huge issue of the ever growing collection of potholes in our roads, cycle tracks and footpaths is a major concern for residents and I can assure you we will continue to hold Harlows’ Conservative County Councillors to account for their woeful lack of action and achievement. We will also continue the vital role of scrutinising the claims and promises of the Conservative administration.

I cannot wait to get to work with my fabulous fellow Labour Councillors and our brilliant Harlow Labour Team. We will, as always, be on your side.

Thank you once again.

Cllr James Griggs

David Hughes - he’s been elected 2 days you fool, give him a chance. I don’t know him but I know he volunteers week in week out at Community Embrace helping to distribute donated food to people in need
