Two events in Harlow to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday

TWO events are being held in the town this week to honour people who have died in war.

On Friday 11 November 2022, a short Armistice Day service will be held at 11am outside the Civic Centre by the flagpoles.

All are welcome to attend.

Please meet outside the Civic Centre for 10.45am.

A two-minute silence will be observed at 11am.

On Sunday 13 November 2022 the town’s Remembrance Sunday service organised by the Royal British Legion Harlow branch will be held at the Town Park war memorial on School Lane.

All are welcome to attend. The march down to the memorial from Burnt Mill will begin at 10.30am with the service starting at 10.45am.

School Lane will be closed to traffic from 10am to 12noon.

There will also be an event at PAH on Friday at 11.00am.
