Football: Another match postponed at Harlow Town’s ground as pitch deemed “unplayable”

THE mystery surrounding the state of Harlow Town’s football pitch continues to grow as a match scheduled to take place on Friday evening was postponed at the very last minute.
Cannons Wood FC play in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties (Step 6).
Their reserves were set to play Barking Under 23s in the Essex Senior League at the Harlow Arena.
Cannons Wood issued the following statement on their Twitter account.
“Tonight’s reserve game has been cancelled after the referee deemed the pitch unplayable 15 mins before KO.
“We all know the issues with Harlow’s pitch, yet you allowed players from both teams to travel, warm up and then call it off! Why was an inspection not done earlier today?”
YH has contacted Harlow Town FC via their press e mail but they have not responded.
Their next home game is scheduled for December 10th.
Saves them losing. AGAIN
