Burst water main Hobbs Cross Road - First sign of water through road surface around 15:00 26/12/2022, Affinity Water notified and attended by 19:00. Affinity have been working through out the night
Most of the roads around the area take a real hammering, and, action is never taken against the HGV drivers that regularly pound the roads to get to the farms in the very local vicinity. As far as we are aware, the roads are never policed, to protect us from these 55 tonne monsters that roar through here on a regular basis. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the water mains are crumbling.
