ON FRIDAY, a large number of voluntary organisations, came together to discuss the challenges of poverty in Harlow in 2023 and what they can do to help.

The conference took place at the Harlow Playhouse.. Next door, the Bounty Club was open to help people with food. A number of delegates popped out during the conference to cover shifts there.

YH spoke to the head of Harlow Foodbank, Andy Thornton about the conference and what they hope to achieve.
