Educating Stewards Academy: The return of former Passmores deputy Mr Drew!

THE FORMER deputy head of Passmores Academy has returned to Harlow to teach in Harlow, this time as deputy head of Stewards Academy.
Many will remember Stephen Drew from his appearances in the Channel 4 documentary series, Educating Essex.
The series ran in 2011.
Mr Drew became something of a cult figure for the calm way he dealt with discipline. His wit was very dry but the message was always conveyed.
He commanded huge respect and was greatly admired.
After teaching in Brentwood and Cambridge, he has come back to be part of the Passmores Learning Community and working with his colleague, executive head Vic Goddard.
Your Harlow visited to Stewards Academy to speak to them both.
Such wonderful news that Mr. Drew is back for the young people of Harlow. He was a great loss to Passmores and sorely missed.
Good stuff. I was pleasantly surprised to see him appear on a recent article here about Stewards open evening.
A breath of fresh air to see Mr Drew back in Harlow again. His work in the past is massively admirable and he sets such a great example to other young or aspiring teachers. Stewards will be lucky to have him.
But Stewards cannot stop the bullying absolutely disgusting treatment of the children, Mr Goodard said about children being safe and protected that isnt happening at Stewards.
Would one of Vic’s lessons to young people be ‘How many fingers can you fit in your shoe whilst interviewed’?
