Update from Essex Police: We are pleased to confirm that Charlie MacIntyre, who was missing from Harlow has now been found.
ESSEX Police is continuing to appeal for information to help us find 18-year-old Charlie MacIntyre, who is missing in Harlow.
A spokesperson said: “We’re now in a position to release a more recent image of Charlie and we would ask people to familiarise themselves with his picture and to please look out for him.
We now believe Charlie may be staying in a tent and may have been frequenting the area around Asda, off the A1025.
The tent we believe he is using, pictured, does not have an outer layer, which means its white support poles can be seen when it is set up.
As a result, officers will be searching that area this evening.
Above all, we want to ensure Charlie is OK.
Charlie is about 5ft 6in tall, slim, with short brown hair and may be wearing glasses. We believe he will be wearing black tracksuit bottoms, with a black T-shirt which has a black stitched Puma-style motif on the chest, and grey North Face hooded top.
We also believe he is carrying a black ruck sack.
“Anyone who has seen Charlie or knows where he is, please contact us immediately on 101”.
There are quite a lot of people campaigning in Rectory Wood, some of them have been there for a few months now but others have appeared more recently, it may be that Charlie may be one of them, there has been a tent similar to the one in the article there recently.
He's very young, what a terrible shame, hope he's OK.
He’s been found safe and well.
Please let us know if Charlie has been found I am a mother of one friend from the secondary School and college we hope his ok Please Charlie family don’t let him to suffer out there whatever happened to him give him the opportunity to back home and talk to help him to find a good way in life .God Bless him and his family .
