THE HARLOW Education Awards took place on Thursday evening at the council offices in The Water Gardens.

The awards were the brainchild of former chief executive Malcom Morley and were designed to recognises students and staff who have, for a variety of reasons, overcome adversity as part of th many challenges of school life.
