Harlow Playhouse: Associate Artist Rhiannon Faith nominated for prestigious Olivier Award

HARLOW Playhouse is thrilled to announce that Associate Artist, Rhiannon Faith, has been nominated for an Olivier Award (Outstanding Achievement in Dance) for her exceptional community-focused conception of “Lay Down Your Burdens.” This bold and exciting production, is a co-commission between Harlow Playhouse and Barbican, London.

Rhiannon Faith has been an integral part of the Harlow Playhouse community since 2018, delivering a series of transformative works that have resonated deeply with audiences. From the powerful “Smack That” to the poignant “I Talk to the Clouds and They Cry with Me,” Rhiannon’s artistic vision has consistently pushed boundaries and challenged conventions. Her dedication to community engagement and her commitment to amplifying diverse voices have made her an invaluable asset to the cultural landscape of Harlow.

In addition to “Lay Down Your Burdens,” Rhiannon Faith’s impressive body of work includes “The Cloud Hub,” “The Care House Project,” “9 Acts of Care,” and “DROWNTOWN”. 

As Harlow’s first and only Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, Harlow Playhouse is proud to support Rhiannon’s artistic endeavours and to celebrate her well-deserved recognition on this Olivier Nomination.
