OFFICERS want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed or may have dashcam footage of an incident involving offensive weapons in Harlow yesterday.

We were called with reports of two suspects carrying knives in Cooks Spinney at about 2.20pm on Tuesday March 12th.

The suspects were both described as white, about 5ft 8in tall, slim, and approximately 17 years old.

One was wearing a navy blue coat with ‘Hoodrich’ written on it and grey jogging bottoms.

The other was wearing a black hoodie and dark blue or black jogging bottoms.

Officers attended the scene and conducted a wide search of the area, with support from the National Police Air Service, but found no trace of the suspects.

Our investigation is ongoing and enquiries are continuing.

Additional patrols will be in the area today (Wednesday 13 March).
