Harlow Alliance Party get new bins installed at Staple Tye shopping centre
News / Thu 21st Mar 2024 at 09:24am
HAVING spent many hours at Staple Tye Shopping Centre in the last two years talking to shoppers, members of the Harlow Alliance Party (HAP) were struck by two things: the number of visitors who travel to Staple Tye from places as far away as Waltham Abbey, Ongar and Sawbridgeworth and the amount of litter which accumulates around the centre, with bins often seen overflowing with rubbish.

The council’s attempts to improve the image of Harlow does not extend to private land apparently, so the issue was taken up with the managing agents of the shopping centre by a HAP member and within a matter of weeks they agreed to install five extra bins.
Karen James, Harlow Alliance Candidate in May’s local elections in the Latton Bush and Stewards ward said: “Many people’s view of Harlow is shaped by what they see at Staple Tye. Hopefully the installation of these bins will help lift their impression of the town”.
HAP-the only party not talking Rubbish. Don't worry, this is a throw away comment!
Well done HAP. I bet the Labour Party wish they were as imaginative and proactive as HAP.
This thread is total TRASH 🚮
Well done HAP, could some bins be installed at North Brooks playing/football fields ? Always rubbish thrown around as not 1 bin for the entire area.
Peter Henegan. Your post was rubbish and should be binned
David Forman truly is a Tory in socialists clothing. Just join their party, it would make this sycophancy less painful to watch. Just because you couldn’t hack it in the Labour Party.
Well done.
Mr R Smith, best contact one of your local councillors to request some bins at Northbrooks playing field. Hopefully you may get the same result as Karen did at Staple Tye.
Can we get a rubbish bin big to fit Harlow into , as per my wife.
