ON Sunday 14th April, three members of Hare Street Community Primary School and Nursery headed to Cambridge to participate in the East of England Regional Finals with their trampoline squad Flight TC.

During the competition, the Hare Street pupils needed to showcase a learned routine, linking movements which not only needed to be executed with precision but also required the trampolinists to remain in the middle of their trampoline beds as well as being judged on the height in which they jumped.

Kailani Hoole-Jackson won gold in her 7-8 year old women’s event, despite being just 6 years old with Alexa Osei coming in close behind in second place. Olivia Osei tackled a large group of 9-10 year olds and placed in at an impressive fifth place.

The talented pupils train weekly with their club Flight TC at the Harlow LeisureZone and have shown once again their talents at a high level competition although the school has conceded that the Paris Olympics may have arrived a little too soon for these pupils and feel that 2036 is a more realistic goal!
