Top comedy returns to Redchurch Brewery
Entertainment / Thu 9th May 2024 at 09:27am
JUNE 6th sees the return of our popular Edinburgh preview shows where acts who are playing the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe preview their shows before heading north of the border (to Scotland not Suffolk).

We will be putting on two shows each night with a special guest appearing at each one.
Entry to other previews around the country are usually £15-£20 per show so the chance to see two for less that £12 is an absolute bargain.
The season kicks off on Thursday June 6th with David Eagle and Glenn Wool.
David Eagle has already won the best variety show at this years Leicester Comedy Festival and has been described by Reginald D Hunter as “A genuine stand-up rookie phenomenon”
THE EAGLE IS CANDID
David is blind and his comedy often explores how his disability means the most ordinary, commonplace events are turned into surreal and convoluted dramas. Occasionally he dons his accordion (often as a spiteful repost to hecklers) and performs one of his comedy songs, such as his George Formby parody, described by the Guardian as “a comic tour de force.”

GLENN WOOL
Star of Never Mind The Buzzcocks and 8 out of 10 Cats Glenn Wool has been described as “Lethally Funny” by the Metro and is rated as one of the best comedians ever to cross the pond
LUV (sic)
LUV (SIC) – almost 50, almost single, almost happy. Not “how to” but “how i” got over and around the shattering of my marriage. For anyone who has had (or secretly wants) a divorce
The show will once again be hosted by John Mann with a special guest
Each of the two shows will last approximately one hour
