Harlow Council to hold annual Armed Forces Day ceremony

ARMED Forces Day, which this year falls on Saturday 29 June, is to be marked by Harlow Council in the week leading up to the day with a flag-raising ceremony outside the Civic Centre.
The ceremony will take place on Monday 24 June and begins at 10.45am.
The flag is always raised in the lead-up to Armed Forces Day. Armed Forces Day shows support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets.
Finally some patriotic celebrations rather than all the other rubbish that’s been happening in this town..
Certain groups get a whole month of celebration yet our armed forces get the occasional day. Just goes to show that this country has really gone downhill !! I think that those who died in WWI and WWII did so in vain :(
Mr grumpy The fact that you can make those comments without fear of reprisals would seem to prove otherwise
