A METROPOLITAN police officer, who lives in Harlow, has been charged with misconduct after allegedly stealing money from the body of a man who had died reports The Guardian.

PC Craig Carter, 51, is due to appear at Westminster magistrates court on Friday after being charged with misconduct in public office over the alleged incident. He is alleged to have stolen money from a man who had collapsed and died in Harringay in north London in September 2022.
