Police investigate reports of sports cars driving dangerously on M11

ESSEX Police is investigating reports of dangerous driving on the M11 in Loughton at around 5pm today (Tuesday 23 July).

We were alerted to several brightly coloured sports cars, believed to be Lamborghinis, coming to a complete stop on the northbound carriageway of the motorway, just before the junction 5 exit to Loughton.
The road was very busy at the time and concerned motorists have contacted us to report the incident.
Roads Policing Sergeant Will Willsher said: “This is extremely dangerous driving and we are investigating this incident.
“Keeping people safe on our roads is a priority at Essex Police and we are committed to identifying those who put others at risk and bringing them to justice.
“We ask anyone who witnessed this incident, has details of the cars involved or has dash cam footage to contact us.”
