A snapshot of some of the things Harlow officers have dealt with during June.
A spokesperson said: “We helped to find 79 people who were reported missing and helped them to get the support they needed.
We responded to 13 mental health related incidents and worked with local partners to help those concerned get the help and support they needed.
We investigated 74 reports of anti-social behaviour having listened to local communities about the things which were causing them concern.
We attended 22 road traffic collisions, helping to keep those involved safe and our roads moving.
We investigated 172 reports of domestic violence incidents and made sure victims were given help, support, and advice, putting them in
contact with relevant organisations where appropriate.
We solved 85 crimes, ensuring those intent on committing crime are held accountable for their actions.
We have submitted 603 pieces of intelligence which assists us in targeting criminal activity in our community.
“Our officers also stopped and searched 79 people within our district to make sure they weren’t carrying anything which could cause harm to themselves or someone else”.
What makes Domestic Violence the most likely incident to which police officers called in Harlow? What needs to be done to change this?
They’d need to stop allowing domestic violence to time out when the party who attacked the other admits to it to the police, but once the incident times out, it no longer matters
Would like to see police with speed checks in Old road Old Harlow as it is used as a cut through from Cambridge road to m11a speed limit is 30 mph but cars are doing 40 to 50 mph pulling out of the Hoo and Hart road is so dangerous
