HERCULES Running & Tri members were busy again as we approach the end of July.

On Saturday 20th July Paul & Wendy Schroder attended the Olympic Stadium for a 5k event. Inspired by the up-and-coming Paris Olympics Paul Schroder achieved a time of 19:55, finishing 10out of 156 runners, this was Paul’s first sub 20 5k since 2019. It’s taken over 5 years for Paul to get back to a Sub 20 5k and only the second time he has ever run under 20 mins.

Paul said, “it’s been a very long road with injuries but it’s how we move forward is all that matters in the end”.

Wendy Schroder achieved a super time of 24:11 finishing 32 out of 156.

Paul said “Hercules was formed to be different to what is currently on offer, using innovative ideals, technology with a mix of virtual and in real life sessions for positive gains and improvements. We want to push athletes to keep improving. Pushing yourself to the limits can be extremely fun”
