History / Fri 16th Aug 2024 at 03:02pm

A MOVING ceremony to mark 79 years since Victory in Japan took place in Harlow Town Park this week.

The service of dedication and remembrance was led by Rev Albert Morris. There were speeches by Cllr James Griggs and Pam Gillespie. Pam’s father, George Money was a prisoner in the Far East for over three years.

There is a small area of dedication just off the car park near the Netteswell Cross.
