Harlow man charged with two counts of assaulting a woman and coercive/controlling behaviour

A HARLOW man has been charged with a number of offences including two alleged assaults on a woman.
Lewis Mann, aged 28, of No Fixed Abode, has been charged with the following.
Between December 1st, 2023 and January 15th, 2024 at Harlow repeatedly or continuously engaged in behaviour which was controlling or coercive, namely tracking the victim’s movements, attending uninvited at her home and place of work, threatened to disclose sexually explicit photos of her, assaulted her, threaten to damage her car and bombarding her with unwanted phone calls, text messages and posts on social media.

On January 9th, 2024 at Harlow assaulted a female by beating her.
On January 13th, 2024 at Harlow assaulted a female by beating her.
On January 25th, 2024, had in your possession a small quantity of cocaine, a controlled drug of class A.
On January 25th, 2024, had in your possession a small quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B.
The case has been adjourned. The next scheduled hearing is October 24th at Chelmsford magistrates court.
There has yet to be an indication of a plea.
