EARLIER this year, we covered Hare Street Primary’s Mark Grant’s successful campaign to run the London Marathon.

He must have enjoyed it so much he is back on the road for April 2025.

Mark said: “This year I’m running with a ballot place. I’ve been try for a ballot place for over 16 years and finally my resilience has been rewarded!

“Although this means I can run as an individual, I’ve decided to join Team GOSH.

“As a school we have always had an affiliation with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) through the children in their care and I just wanted to make some kind of contribution to the continuation of the wonderful work they do.

“Training is going well as I haven’t stopped running since the last marathon.

“I am however facing the grim reality of training through the winter months.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will be supporting a great cause!
