ON MONDAY morning, Harlow Council hosted a service to mark armistice day.

The event, held outside the civic centre, honoured those members of the Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

A two-minute silence was observed.

The service was led by Vice-Chair of the Council, Sue Livings.
