IT is an exciting time for Burnt Mill Academy staff and students as we are drawing closer to the time when the new school building will be ready for us to occupy reports BMAT.
A spokesperson said: “To coincide with the opening of the new school building, we have decided to update the Burnt Mill uniform and PE kit. This will be for our new year 7 students starting September 2025, and our current year 7 students who will be in year 8 in September 2025.
“Introducing a new uniform alongside the opening of a new school building is a great opportunity to mark a new chapter in the history of Burnt Mill Academy.
“We have always wanted our students to be proud to be part of our school community and our uniform represents a sense of belonging among our students. We want to mark this new era with a fresh and positive atmosphere, making students feel proud of their new school environment”.

Im sorry but this just isn't right when people are feeling the pinch of the cost of living crisis! the only people happy about this is the school uniform shop who charge stupid amounts for the uniforms! Do people not think first before bringing these rulings in! I feel sorry for the parents and I feel there should be a flat feel for a uniform or even the schools pring the logos on the blazers and sports kit!
