Harlow man set to send trial over a number of public order offences

A HARLOW man has pleaded not guilty a number of public order offences.
Stephen Wilmott, aged 54, of Great Brays, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On May 30th, 2025 in Harlow with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.
On May 30th, 2025 at Harlow, with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.
On May 30th, 2025 at Chelmsford in the County of Essex without lawful excuse, damaged Chelmsford Police Station Holding Cell to the value of unknown amount belonging to Essex Police intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.
His next scheduled appearance is on February 16th, 2026 at Chelmsford magistrates court.
He has pled not guilty.
He has been released on conditional bail.
