MATCHING Green won the Herts and Essex Border League Cup on Tuesday evening beating Farnham Cricket Club
Farnham started their innings aggressively
S Hyne 48 (27 balls) shared a 62 run partnership with B Notley – Griffiths in six overs
Dan Sibley gave matching the breakthrough removing both openers.
Farnham looked in a strong position to take the score towards 200 mark.

Matching Green captain Riz had other ideas taking four wickets for 28 runs, restricting Farnham to 180 in their 20 overs.
Matching Green started their innings with an explosive batting display from the captain Riz who scored 55 from just 19 balls.
Matching Green chased down thetarget of 180 in 18 overs
Matching Green take on Thorley in the Broadmans Davies Cup semi final on July 29th at Matching Green Cricket Club 6pm start.
Matching Cricket club are well on their way to a quadruple.
