PET’S Corner has announced that BooBoo, the popular pony, has passed away at the age of 32.

A Pet’s Corner spokesperson said: “It’s with very heavy hearts that we share the sad news that our beloved BooBoo has passed away at the age of 32.

BooBoo first arrived at Pets Corner as a foal back in 1994, and over the years she became such a big character – full of personality, mischief, and charm. She quickly found her way into the hearts of everyone who met her, and she’s been loved by our team and visitors ever since.

In recent years, BooBoo had been bravely battling laminitis and Cushing’s. Despite the incredible care and veterinary treatment she received, her laminitis sadly became unmanageable. The decision to let her go was an extremely difficult one, made with her comfort and dignity at the forefront of our minds.

Her absence has left a huge hole at Pets Corner, and it will take some time for us all to heal from the loss of such a special friend. We are keeping a close eye on Star, her companion, who is adjusting to life without her. To help, the donkeys have moved in next door to keep Star company.

“BooBoo will always be remembered with love and smiles. Thank you to everyone who cared for her and shared in her journey with us”.
