Daniel Robinson’s Golf Day raises over £43,000 for very worthy causes

A GREAT deal of hard work and dedication by the team at Daniel Robinson & Sons paid off when they held their Annual Charity Golf Day on Wednesday, 10th September, at Colne Valley Golf Club.

They raised over £43,000 and every penny raised will be used to change young lives in the local area for the better, covering the cost of specialist private physiotherapy and equipment, to help local children who were born with Cerebral Palsy.  This level of physiotherapy is not available through the NHS, but it gives the children the opportunity to greatly increase their mobility and confidence, helping to equip them to lead much more independent lives in the future.

Thirty four teams took part and the day was supported by local businesses including:  Nockolds, Price Bailey, J Day & Son, Laurelo, Ratcliff & Burridge, Mullucks and Greenacres.

Gary Neill, Managing Director of Daniel Robinson & Sons said, ‘we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated to the day, or entered a team, it is this fantastic level of support and the inspirational beneficiaries, that makes this such a special event’.
