THE CONSERVATIVE Party candidate at the last General Election has called on Harlow MP Chris Vince to take action over government plans to house asylum seekers in the town centre.

Councillor Hannah Ellis said: ““I completely oppose the Home Office’s plan to house asylum seekers in the middle of the town centre that we’ve been working so hard to rebuild.
With my Conservative colleagues on Harlow Council, we will do all we can to stop this from happening, but the final decision will be in the hands of the Labour Government.
I call on Chris Vince to do his job as the a Member of Parliament for our town, put the needs of his constituents first, and lobby his Government to put a stop to this.”
We have contacted Chris Vince and await a comment.
Don't worry yourself Miss Hannah - Councillor Swords said: “I know so many residents are concerned, so let me be absolutely clear: under no circumstances will we allow the Government to open an asylum hotel or HMOs in our town." - So unless we are going to get bogged down in the semantics of what exactly constitutes an asylum hotel, Dan has been absolutely clear that he is going to keep them out.
He purchased Terminus House, he could have purchased Redstone House and placed Harlow residents in there. You would have done nothing as all the other liars on the council. Beware the elections as we have the vote and neither parties are worthy or trusting of that vote. Shame on you all
Isn't she not even FROM Harlow?!
My bad, that was a different person.
