A HARLOW man has appeared in court charged with assaulting a woman.

James Morton aged 34, of Moorfield, Harlow appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court, charged with the following.

On November 14th, 2025 at Harlow, assaulted a woman by beating her.

On November 14th, 2025 at Harlow, without lawful excuse, damaged vapeto the value of unknown belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

Morton was remanded in custody.

Next hearing is scheduled for January 12th, 2026.
