Start the New Year in 00 Heaven: Fly to Europe’s most iconic James Bond locations from London Stansted

DURING the festive season, many of us will have indulged in the familiar tradition of settling down to watch a James Bond classic, but there’s no need to stop at the screen, in 2026, you can step into 007’s world.

London Stansted offers direct routes to some of Europe’s most iconic Bond filming locations, from Vienna’s giant Ferris wheel in The Living Daylights to the Alpine village of Obertilliach featured in Spectre.

In 2026, the choice of destinations from Stansted is growing. From March, easyJet will launch direct flights to Paris, giving fans the chance to visit the Eiffel Tower, where Grace Jones made her dramatic leap in A View to a Kill. 

Turkish Airlines will also begin operating 15 weekly flights to Istanbul, home to iconic scenes from From Russia With Love and the dramatic finale of The World Is Not Enough at Maiden’s Tower.

With direct flights to some of Europe’s most iconic Bond locations, and our own starring role in Tomorrow Never Dies,London Stansted is the gateway to a 007 inspired escape.” 

The airport even has its own 007 moment. In Tomorrow Never Dies, Q unveils Bond’s gadget-packed BMW inside one of Stansted’s hangars, meaning fans’ Bond journey begins the moment they arrive. 

With Ryanair, Jet2, easyJet, Pegasus, AJet, and Turkish Airlines offering frequent services, London Stansted makes it easier than ever to experience the thrill of Bond’s world, all just a short flight away.

Austria

  • The Living Daylights – Bond meets Kara on Vienna’s iconic Wiener Riesenrad, the giant Ferris wheel at Prater Amusement Park, as they evade danger in the Austrian capital.

  • On Her Majesty’s Secret Service – The elegant coastal towns of Estoril and Cascais host key scenes where Bond meets Tracy and begins unravelling Blofeld’s plans. Nearby Guincho beach also features in the film’s opening fight sequence.

Netherlands

  • Diamonds Are Forever – Amsterdam’s picturesque canals and city centre provide the backdrop for the film’s diamond smuggling storyline.
