Mindless yobs vandalise dozens of cars with spray paint in Abbotsweld area of Harlow

RESIDENTS in the Abbotsweld area of Harlow awoke to find that their cars had been vandalised with spray paint.
It appears that the mindless yobs sprayed red lines down cars from Abbotsweld where it meets Woodcroft, through the estate and onto Partridge Road where more cars were vandalised.
One of the vehicles vandalised was in a disabled bay.
By early morning, people were trying to wipe the red markings off however, other residents had work to go to and so drove with the long red markings on their cars.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We are investigating reports of criminal damage after several vehicles were damaged in Harlow.
It was reported that several cars in Abbotsweld were sprayed with paint in the early hours of Friday 16 January.
“Our enquiries are ongoing”.

To me, this looks like it has been influenced by the "raising the flag" movement. A lot of people supporting that vandalised mini-roundabouts and signs with red paint. Looks to me like it could be the same people involved here....

Mindless vandalism. At least they werent keyed up like mine. A bit of cutting compound and some polish will sort it. Maybe if they catch the scumbags they can put the cars damaged in the town centre and have them repair what they have done. Name and publically shame

My point was if these mindless yobs see roundabouts and signs etc painted with red paint, then that may have influenced them to spray paint the cars. To mindless yobs - what's the difference?
