Harlow man charged with racially aggravated assault in Epping

A HARLOW man has been charged with racially aggravated assault in Epping.
Ross Ellis aged 50, of Orchard Croft, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On September 5th, 2025, at Epping, assaulted a male by beating him and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
Ellis has been remanded on conditional bail. A number of the conditions relate to being within the vicinity of a number of locations in Epping including the Bell Hotel.
His next scheduled appearance is on February 11th at Chelmsford magistrates court.

Is this the same guy that drove his car at police, while he was drunk, with a child in the car and paid the fine with benefits? I'm shocked. It's never the ones you expect.
