Update: Statement from Essex Police

We were called shortly before 7.25pm on Sunday 8 February to a building in Terminus Street following concerns for the welfare of a man.

Sadly, the man died at the scene.

His death is unexpected but not suspicious.

The area was cordoned off for several hours whilst emergency services dealt.

ESSEX Police has closed off a large area near Terminus Street in Harlow.

They have been there since 8pm (approx).

All emergency services are present.

Activity seems to be concentrating around the Terminus Street car park.

They have sealed off stretches from East Gate across to Crown Gate plus walkways and access to Terminus House.
