EPPING Council is flying the Ukrainian flag at our Epping offices on Tuesday 24 February to mark 4 years since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.

Chair of Epping Forest District Council, Councillor Louise Mead said: “As the war enters its fifth year, Epping Forest District Council will continue to support Ukrainians displaced by the war in Ukraine who have made Epping Forest their home.

We want to send a clear message of support to all Ukrainians that we will continue to stand with them for as long as it takes.”

“On 24 February we will fly the Ukrainian flag to show our continued solidarity. We hope that 2026 will be the year peace returns to Ukraine.”
