Harlow Town Football Club announce new management team

HARLOW Town has announced their new management team.

The statement on their Facebook page states:

“The club are delighted to announce John Mackie and Jason Geraghty as Joint Managers for the 2026-27 season.


John Mackie started in non-league football as a player with Crawley Town and Sutton Utd before turning professional at 23 years old, achieving promotions with Reading FC and Leyton Orient.

After moving in to coaching, John was Assistant Manager at Greenwich Borough FC winning promotion from Step 5.

He was also the Assistant manager at Potters Bar when the club achieved its highest finish in Step 3 & reached the FA Cup 1st round proper.

John then became joint manager of Walthamstow FC and helped lead the team to the Essex Senior League Title, their first league title in 37 years.

Jason Geraghty is an ex West Ham and England youth international. who played over 400 games mainly at step 2 and 3 for multiple clubs including Stevenage, Enfield, Walthamstow, Aveley, Hornchurch, and Hemel Hempstead. There was even a brief loan spell at Harlow Town.

“Since moving in to coaching Jason has built has earned a reputation as a well respected youth coach, winning multiple youth titles including with Walthamstow U23s which won the Essex Senior Reserve League Cup during his tenure.

“The club would like to extend a huge welcome to John and Jason and wish them the best of luck for the season ahead”.

‘Come on ‘arlow’!, our football mad town deserves and needs a good competitive local side. Has always had great support. Well done and good luck to the new management structure.
