Letter to Editor: Conservative candidate thanks voters after EU elections

Dear Editor,
“I want to thank those Harlow residents who voted Conservative on Thursday. The national context of these elections meant that it was always going to be an uphill challenge for the Conservative Party but the team in the East of England, led by Geoffrey Van Orden and John Flack, campaigned on a positive and local message.
“Congratulations must go to Geoffrey Van Orden who has been re-elected. He will continue to stand up for the East of England in the European Parliament. Geoffrey will also play a crucial role in Brexit discussions at a European level.
“It has been a difficult period of time for the Conservative Party. We must work hard to regain voters’ trust. I am confident that our next Prime Minister will get on and deliver the 2016 referendum decision. We must leave the European Union by the 31st of October.”

A bit of an under-statement, methinks, re, recent events, but, look at the figures for the Corbynski party, deplorable, and, they've kicked out one, A Campbell too. Happy days.

corbyn looks older than me micky and im old.believe me .ha ha...seeing the tories and labour going down the pan is the best thing since we won the world cup in 66..
