Harlow girl Keira sets up charity lemonade stall to raise money for Australian bushfires

A YOUNG Harlow girl is doing her bit to help those suffering from the Australian bush fires by setting up a Lemonade stall outside her house.
Keira was saddened to learn of the fires in Australia and how people and animals had lost their homes. After discussing the different ways to raise money at school, Keira asked her parents if she could hold a lemonade stall to raise money “so we can send the money to people whose houses burned down and they can buy new ones and also help the animals”.
Keira Markides lemonade stall will be outside 228 Rundells between noon and 2pm on Sunday (Jan 12th).
The cups of lemonade will be 50 pence each.
Local residents were moved when a little handwritten note popped through their doors which explained what Keira was doing.
Keira and her family have also set up a justgiving page where you can donate to the cause.
If you click on the page, you will also see how Keira went about making the lemonade.
