Harlow Museum set to celebrate 75 years music in the town

History / Fri 24th Jun 2022 at 07:53am

HARLOW Museum is sharing music history in this anniversary year by launching an exhibition alongside a day of live music in the Walled Gardens. The 75 years of music exhibition highlights community bands that have made an impact over the years – some locally and internationally. The exhibition starts with the Netteswell Youth Band and winds through the Museum to posters of magnificent gigs at the Town Park, The Harlow Bands Family Tree, The Square’s heritage collection and instruments. There are also many ‘vintage’ (to some people) pieces, that demonstrate the social ways we interacted with music from the 50’s to today.
