Communities / Tue 26th Mar 2024 at 08:06am

OVER a hundred people came together in Harlow town park to celebrate the festival of Holi, which marks the start of spring.

The park was a blaze with colour and joy as members of the society and other community members celebrated.

The chair of the Harlow Hindu Society Nishall Garala said: “The Holi event was bigger and better this year.

Thank you to Harlow Council for allowing us to host the event in the Town Park. This event brought together people from all across the town, which was incredible.

“It was great fun, and everyone throughly enjoyed themselves!

“It showed true community cohesion and it helped share our culture further”.

Where was this event advertised? I knew about the holiday but not about any events being held in Harlow. We really need these events to be publicised all over the town Pryor to the events.
