Tribute to Pet’s Corner volunteer Bill Weston
Communities / Mon 26th Aug 2024 at 10:31am
MAY I pay tribute to my partner’s grandad Robert (Bill) Weston, who passed away on Sunday August 18th.
Bill volunteered at Pet’s Corner for over forty years. He dedicated many years to the animals and the park, bringing a lot of knowledge to visitors.

He was especially fond of the pigs, of whom he was very fond of.
He will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him and will be forever in the hearts of his family and hold a special place at Pets Corner forever.

Our lives won't be the same without you. Rest peacefully, Bionic Bill. 💔
God bless this man. Rest in paradise Bill. 🙏🏻
Bill was one of those people that it was a pleasure to know. His knowledge of animals, the world of farming and countryside was unparalleled. Every Sunday he was at Pets and I looked forward to our chats. He also loved passing on his knowledge and helped mentor our volunteers building their confidence and encouraging them to learn. Whenever we had an event on you could guarantee that Bill would have a table covered in vintage tools and other items from the past and Bill spent the day talking about the items and sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with our visitors. He always reminded me of the late Jack Hargreaves of Out of Town and 'How' TV shows, Rest in Peace Bill.
If you asked me what is a gentleman, my answer would be Bill Weston. Bill was my brother Inlaw.R.I.P Bill. Love and condolences to the Westons. Love from Vic and Chris xxx
Rest in peace Bill.Your neighbour for 25 years .Lovely man
