Harlow MP pledges to keep pressure on Princess Alexandra Hospital over cancelled appointments

News / Sun 17th Nov 2024 at 01:27pm

HARLOW MP Chris Vince has pledged to hold Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) to account over the number of cancelled appointments as they embed a new patient record system.

YH has been inundated with complaints from readers telling us that operations, consultations, check-ups have been canceled and subsequent re-scheduled well into 2025.

A number of other readers have told us that they have “gone private” incurring bills well into the thousands.

Recently, Mr Vince sent us a press release where he said he had spoken to the senior executives at PAH and he was “assured and satisfied”.

So we spoke to him on Friday, on a number of issues but at the end of our interview we asked him reading PAH and cancelled appointments.

Amazing ability to speak a lot without really saying anything politicians have.

Mr Vince has a unique ability to enter a room, stay, then leave and no one has the slightest clue what he was talking about.

To think the MP for this district was once Sir Winston Churchill and now we have Chris Vince. How much lower can we sink? From the greatest Briton to this completely third rate Starmer Yes man and a bumbling non entity. So sad.

MP Vince has an ability to talk a lot while nothing is achieved by his government. I didn't vote for him but really I have asked him to arrange things and work for my area and excuses persist telling me why he can't. Halfon didn't either so no change there then.

Gary Roberts, like many others, now know that the only change with the new Labour government is shortchanged.

Mr Forman, really? You can do better than that. This government is no better than than the last who demeaned and insulted the electorate for far too long. This government hasn't done that yet but MP Vince like Halfon supports every dot and comma spoken by his leader which undermines his support for those that elected him on the basis of change. Where is the change? Answers on a postcard with a spare ticket to Vancouver attached please!

The only message from Chris Vince is support PAH and be patient. His overt support for PAH management is not a clear sign of holding them to account. Don't expect too much from Vince until the system goes tits up, then he will be backtracking like mad.
