Update: Mr Healy has been found not guilty.

A HARLOW man has been charged with assaulting a woman.

Daniel Healy, aged 44, of Park Mead, Harlow has been charged with the following.

Between November 12th and November 13th, at Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.

Between November 12th and November 13th, without lawful excuse, threatened a woman that a TV, mobile phone and vehicle belonging to her intending that she would fear that the threat would be carried out

Healy has been remanded in custody until his next hearing on December 6th at Colchester magistrates court.

Healy has pleaded not guilty to charge one.
