Imagine how the users feel after all the nation gave up for the NHS in covid, only for waiting times to increase and strikes for more pay while the rest of the economy was devastated with high inflation caused by printing money to protect the NHS.
Blaming the NHS staff again.. you should walk a week in their shoes, nurses, doctors dealing with corridors full of people waiting to see them and full ambulances behind them.. but nowhere to put them as all the beds are full. Some are bed blockers where the now non-existent social care are not around in order to help them go home in a safe and supported manner. Shifts all a minimum of 12hrs and more, no time to drink or have a meal for many staff.. It's hard on the floor in hospitals, they are seriously understaffed now. Had a family member walk out after 36 years, just reached the end of his tether and walked out and hasn't gone back, these people are valuable, all that experience and training - gone. We need these staff. It's a real shame of what has become of our NHS in such a short period of time.
Fully agree with Sodthisforalark. A family member suffered a heart attack at the end of Covid due to all the stress of organising scarce ventilators and other medical devices, plus trying to keep her staff safe and maintain the flow of spare parts. All the Labour luvvies are going to do is privatise more of the NHS and you have only to look at adult social care to see what privatisation does to an essential public service.
