A WOMAN has pleaded guilty to a public order offence in The Stow.
Nicola Scott, aged 50, had been charged with the following.

On October 22nd, 2024, in Harlow, used towards another, threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause that person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against her by any person, or to provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence by her whereby that person was likely to believe that such violence would be used, or it was likely that such violence would be provoked.
Scott also pled to the following:
On October 22nd at Harlow smoked in a smoke-free place, namely The Stow Laundrette
Smoking in a smoke-free place – Health Act 2006, Contrary to section 7 of the Health Act 2006..
Scott’s next appearance is on March 15th at Colchester magistrates court.
What is it about the stow that attracts these types of things ? Hopefully they get the help or sentence required
Meanwhile, did the public prosecutor commute the charge of murder to robbery for the guy who left his victim with serious head injuries, which if so seems odd whilst this lady with a seemingly violent tongue and addiction, who has already pleaded guilty gets hauled off to Colchester for a costly (to the public purse) court session when on the spot fines together with the lauderette owner refusing her customer may have worked?
