FOLLOWING a concern raised by Newhall Primary Academy and local residents, on Tuesday 20 May, Harlow’s Children and Young Persons officers, along with the Community Safety Engagement Officer, carried out foot patrols around the school and surrounding Newhall area.

They engaged with students and their parents around anti-social and dangerous riding of bikes on the roads and pathways.
They discussed the dangers, issues and concerns that were being caused.
The Children and Young Persons officers work closely with all schools in Harlow to help educate the children on staying safe and build up a positive relationship with the police.
