A HARLOW man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.

John-Anthony Brown, aged 47, of Edmunds Tower, Harlow has been charged with the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On or in 13 Jun 2025 at Harlow intentionally attempted to touch a girl aged 15 and that touching would have been sexual, she would not have consented and you did not reasonably believe that she would have consented.

On or in 13 Jun 2025 at Harlow assaulted a police officer, acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker, by beating him.

Brown has indicated a not guilty plea.

Brown has been remanded on conditional bail.

His next scheduled appearance in on March 16th, 2026.
