POLICE officers have secured charges against a man following a car fire in North Weald.

They were called to a fire in Epping Road at 12.20pm on Sunday 27 July which led to four cars being damaged.

A 29 year-old man was arrested a short time later.

Valerrij Semionov, of Mowbray Close, Epping, has now been charged with three counts of arson and failing to provide a specimen.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 29 July).
