These magistrates need locking up, they are endangering the public by leaving these people to roam the streets.

And yet Driving without a licence or insurance, weren't listed as offences. Why not?

Jarrett.......come on. You know the magistrates don't write the laws or define the sentencing requirements. They sentence within the boundaries they are allowed. If they stray from those boundaries the case will be appealed, thrown out, and then there will be no conviction at all? Do you have any clue how the justice system works in this country?

And there is the problem, way to lenient sentencing by the courts, where is the deterrent to make people think twice, remember Labours slogan "Tough on crime, Tough on the causes of crime" What the public want is action not slogans

Magistrates need to have the power to give harsher sentences, but as all prisons are full it can`t be done. This is a reason why so much crime is being committed and the other is no police on the beat. Until these things are remedied we have to put up with these morons. The only positive thing we can take from it is that they will all end up with sad bad lives never achieving anything. Karma awaits
