Essex Police and Crime Commissioner issues statement following Bondi murders

ROGER Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, has made a statement following the tragic shooting incident in Bondi, Sydney.
Mr Hirst said: “Our thoughts are with the families and communities affected by the terrible shooting incident in the Bondi area of Sydney, Australia.
“We will not tolerate hate crime in Essex, the safety of the county Jewish community and all of our county communities is of paramount importance. We work closely with our communities to keep them safe.
“The PFCC, Essex Police and all partners are vigilant to any threat to community safety and we will maintain that vigilance in the coming weeks and days.”

Appalling crime it's not only Israel that are under attack it's the free world .here we go again let's all give our colendolances to Jewish people then tell them they can't sing at the eurovision song contest.

What happened in Australia is yet another instance of people feeling that violence will solve their problems. I know from personal experience that it brings a split second remedy followed by a lifetime of remorse. The attackers in Bondi have not solved a thing and have done a massive disservice to the people of Gaza as well as the Jewish community in Australia. I send my condolences to the victims' families. However, I support a cultural boycott of Israel to bring an end to the killing and suffering in Gaza. Having empathy for Jews and Muslims should not be a case of one or the other.

What's the relevance in that then?99 per cent of Muslim people are nice law abiding citizens,that's not the argument.The argument is an attack on innocent Jewish people is not acceptable as it was not acceptable on 7 oct 2023.Im sick and tired of jews and Israel in particular being castigated by the media, and mealy mouthed weak politicians , when it suits.
