Harlow Town 0 v 2 Colney Heath
HARLOW Town went down to a home defeat against a well-organised Colney Heath on Saturday afternoon.

If there was a difference between the two sides then it was attacking midfielder Will Andiyapan.
At half time (score 0-0) a Colney Heath official said to our reporter “Watch out for our No 18”.
Sure enough in the 47th and 50th minutes, the former Tottenham and Wales Under 19 player scored two excellent goals.

The first curled round Harlow keeper, James Pellin and the second was similar but this time from outside the box.
It must be hard when you are released from a high profile club such as Tottenham and so we wish the young man well.
Meanwhile, any match report regarding Harlow Town (we feel) has to reflect the present circumstances.
There was a meeting for fans that was held before the game. That will be the subject of a separate report.
Once again, Syrus Gordon was in charge of the team. Throughout the game, the team looked very well organised but it seemed to lack any real anchor/pivot in midfield plus any attacking teeth up front.
Sure there were plenty of shots towards the goal but Harlow never ever looked like scoring.
Whether Harlow Town fans will be happy with that for the next fifteen league games is a good question.
And hats off to the loyal 234 fans who attended.
However, it was a shame that the announcer had to issue a warning regarding “racist and abusive language”.
We didn’t think the referee was great. Indeed, after a punch up in the second half, he took an eternity to make a decision and issue three yellow cards. But the hectoring of the officials and the encroachment onto a restricted marked area was unnecessary.

But Harlow Town never lost their spirit and kept fighting to the end. You just felt that if they got a goal back then they could rescue a point. But it wasn’t to be.
You have to hand it the players and staff they gave their absolute all.
Harlow Town are now fifteenth in the league with 23 points. They return to action on Tuesday, away in the cup to Wormley Rovers.
After that it is away in the league on Saturday to Harpenden Town.
Then on January 31st they face league leaders Biggleswade Town at the Harlow Arena.
The ref was useless yet again! We saw Harlow maybe 3 weeks ago and the same ref The guy ie clueless and doesn’t no how to ref a game! Embarrassing and the guy should be ashamed off himself
